SYNOPSIS
Synopsis For 2 years, the camera follows young married couple. Natalia and Trotsky are a good-match couple, although they couldn’t be more different. Trotsky is neurotic dreamer and nonconformist who plays music in the streets. Natalia is a handyman for everything that keeps the whole house in her hand. She works as a nurse in the hospital. They live in a trailer creating their own world that negates modern consumerism. However, their quest for independence begins to get complicated.

Zofia Pregowska | Director/Editor
Zofia is a documentary filmmaker from Warsaw, Poland. She graduated from Warsaw Film School. Her documentary debut, Invisible, The film premiered at IDFA competition for shorts in 2014 and competed at 37 festivals in 16 countries of the world. It’s won 19 international awards, including Oscar qualifying Jury Winner New Orleans FF among others. “Old hippies die young ” were developed during Uniondocs Summer Intensive and received support from Chicken&Egg Pictures. She creatively produced “Maharaja’s children” interactive documentary that premiered at Slamdance and won two Lovie Awards among other recognitions.
Tomasz Stankiewicz | Cinematographer/Editor
Tomasz studied film directing at Warsaw Film School. Cinematographer and co-editor of Invisible. In 2015 he made an award winning magic realism antiwar documentary for children A Brave Bunch: Uprising Through Children’s Eyes aired by TVP ABC channel and used as a primary education tool in over 250 Polish schools and abroad. Film was selected to international festivals including Thessaloniki DFF, Tallgrass FF, Brooklyn FF or Tirana DFF. He directed and scripted “Maharaja’s children ‘ multimedia documetnary.
